Contemporary Art and Editions is the first art gallery in the northern New Jersey region to offer an array of high quality affordable works by internationally recognized contemporary artists.The gallery is an extension of and base of operations for Exhibit A Fine Art and Editions, a publisher of fine art editions since 1991. The gallery showcases both the works on paper and sculpture editions published by Exhibit A as well as exhibiting for sale important examples of work by such artists as Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Kiki Smith, William Wegman and a broad range of other internationally recognized artists. Young and mid-career artists, including Jeff Hargrave, Serena Bocchino and others are also well represented in the gallery’s collection.

The editions published by Exhibit A or in connection with which Exhibit A and its founder Greg Smith have taken principal co-publishing or project development positions include major projects with artists such as Robert Cottingham, Robert Indiana, Donald Sultan, the architect and artist Richard Meier and the late Ed Paschke. In the field of contemporary Chinese art, Exhibit A is a leading publisher; working with such important and well recognized figures including Sui Jian Guo, Feng Zhengjie, Huang Yan, Guo Wei and Yang Qian.

Greg Smith, founder and executive director of the gallery, has been a dealer and publisher of fine art for over two decades and has served or is currently serving as an advisor to, or member of, the Board of a number of organizations devoted to the arts, including City Without Walls, The Papermill Playhouse, The Brodsky Center for Innovative Editions and the Jazz Foundation of America.

Contemporary Art and Editions aims to bring a much more highly sophisticated approach to gallery exhibition offerings than is typically seen in the region of its operations. It is located in the heart of Short Hills/Millburn, New Jersey.
